Kiran Raj (born 5 July 1993)[1] is an Indian actor and model who works in Kannada and Hindi television and cinema. He is best known for portraying Harsha Kumar in the drama series Kannadathi (2020–2023).[2][3] As of 2025, Raj is reported to be among the highest-paid actors in Kannada television.[4][5]
Career
As of June 2025, Raj is playing the titular character of a gynaecologist in Zee Kannada's Karna.[6][7][8] The show gained the highest TRP ratings on Kannada television in the first three weeks.[9][10]
Raj will be playing the lead role in Gurutej Shetty's upcoming film, Jockey 42, co-starring Hrithika Srinivas.[11]
Personal life
In March 2018, actress Yasmin Pathan accused Raj of physically abusing her. They had been in a relationship for many years and married in a temple in Manali. as claimed by her.[12] The actor was arrested on 3 April 2018.[13][14] He secured bail after fourteen days of custody.[15]
On 10 September 2024, Raj suffered a chest injury in a car accident.[16][17]
