Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani HI(M) is a retired three-star general of the Pakistan Army. He served as the Corps Commander of XI Corps in Peshawar and Commandant of the Command and Staff College Quetta.

Military career

Rabbani was commissioned into the Pakistan Army in 1980. Over the course of his career, he served as the Commandant of the Command and Staff College in Quetta.[1]

In December 2011, he was appointed as the Corps Commander of XI Corps, Peshawar, succeeding Lieutenant General Asif Yasin Malik.[2] He oversaw operations such as Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan.[3]

Rabbani retired from active service in December 2014.[4]

Post-retirement

After his retirement, Rabbani remained active in military education and leadership development. He delivered talks on leadership and motivation at the Command and Staff College in Quetta, sharing his experiences from counter-terrorism operations.[5]
