Khaled Emam (born January 17, 1994) is an Egyptian human rights lawyer, peace activist and scholar who speaks widely on democracy, justice, peace, and security in the Middle East.[1][2][3][4][5]
He is the founder and Executive Director of Justice Call,[6][7] a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and marginalized communities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Khaled writes extensively on issues of global security, Middle East politics,[8] and multilateral diplomacy.[9][10][11][12]
Education
Emam earned a Bachelor of Laws and a Master’s degree in Law from Cairo University,[13] as well as a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.[14] He has also taught international law, peace, and security in various institutions around the world.[15]
