Ademović was appointed director of the State Intelligence Agency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1990s.[3] He served in the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Bosnian War and was awarded the Order of the Golden Lily, which was at the time the highest state order awarded for military merits.[4]
