Karen LaVoie (born December 20, 1958) is an American actress and model.
Early Years
LaVoie attended Pasco High School where she excelled at Baton Twirling, competing professionally as a member of The Sunbeans.[2][3] She began competing in pageants as a teenager and was crowned Junior Miss Washington in 1972 and Miss Western States Teen of 1973.[4] She later worked as a cheerleader with the Seattle Seahawks while studying at Columbia Basin College.
Career
She did walk-on roles on The Jeffersons and Diff'rent Strokes but had more substantial roles on Capitol, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and Divorce Court among others.[5] It was upon moving to Portland, Oregon that she focused on commercials while teaching acting.
She published Life Absolutes in November 2006.
