Kannada News Today is a regional news platform based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India,[1][2] which has received a Regional Award.[3][4][5] It was founded by journalist Satish Raj Goravigere in March 2019,[6] who received the Media Contribution Award in 2024 [7] and the Rajyotsava Honor in 2023.[8][9]
The website publishes news in Kannada language and operates alongside its English-language sister site, Timesnib.[10] In 2025, Satish B Gudagenatti,[11] a former MLA candidate in the 2018 Karnataka Assembly election from Belagavi Rural, [12][13] joined as Senior Editor, [14][15][16] and the platform established the Sadhana Awards to recognize contributions by regional journalists.[17][18]
