Joy Mayanne Felix Barcoma (born c. 1999) is a Filipina beauty queen, media host, consultant and environmental advocate who was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2025.[1][2][3][4] She is slated to represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2025.
Early life and background
Joy Barcoma is born in Bacoor City, Cavite, where she was raised as the eldest child in her family. In her pageant introduction video, she said that being the oldest imbued her with a strong sense of responsibility and early leadership skills.[5]
She is a known mental health and disaster preparedness/resilience advocate, being an ambassador for LoveYourself, Inc., a Philippine-based non-profit focused on sexual health and HIV awareness, and as a head of Youth for Mental Health in Region IV-A.[6]
Education
She is a graduate of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) with a degree in Broadcasting.[7]
Pageantry
Barcoma first joined Miss World Philippines 2021, where she placed in the Top 24 and received a special award.[8][9]
In 2025, she represented Bacoor at Miss Philippines Earth 2025 as one of the official 36 official delegates. During the final question and answer portion of the competition, the finalists were asked how they would use the pageant's platform to create a positive impact in their communities. Barcoma responded that she would utilize the platform of the pageant to promote eco-consciousness among the youth, promote innovative solutions, and the inclusive opportunities to help drive progress.[10][11]
Barcoma went on to win the title of Miss Philippines Earth 2025, earning the right to represent the Philippines at the Miss Earth 2025 pageant.
