Joshua Little (born 30 October 2007) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Singapore Premier League club Lion City Sailors.
Early life
Little was born in Saitama prefecture, Japan, to a Japanese mother and an Irish father.
His family relocated to Singapore when he was three, and Little began his playing journey at Arion Football Academy, before joining Spanish Soccer Club Asia (SSCA) when he was eight. A move to the JSSL Singapore soon followed after.
Club career
Lion City Sailors
Little secured a trial with the Lion City Sailors U17 team in September 2021 where he earned a spot under then-head coach Luka Lalić. In December 2022, Little was selected as one of the four academy players to train with Braga youth academy in Portugal.[1]
Little had the opportunity to travel with Lion City Sailors senior team for two AFC Champions League Two away matches which both was against Port in Thailand and Zhejiang Professional in China in late 2024 where the Sailors became runners-up in that season.
On 24 May 2025, Little made his debut in the final league match of the 2024–25 season aged 17 years and 206 days. He started against Tampines Rovers, which ended in a 0–0 draw.[2] On 7 August 2025, Little was officially promoted to the Sailor's first team ahead of the 2025–26 season.[3]
