John Hagel III is an American management consultant and author.

In 2007, Hagel founded the Deloitte Center for the Edge, a Silicon Valley–based research center.[1] He served as the center's co-chairman[2] until his retirement in 2020. He is also the founder of the consultancy company, Beyond Our Edge LLC.[3]

Hagel founded the Deloitte Center for the Edge in 2007 and served as co-chairman until 2020.[4] Hagel is credited with coining the term "infomediary" in his 1999 book, NetWorth, co-authored with Marc Singer.[5]

Hagel has contributed to business publications and maintains a blog.[6]
