Jankowo [janˈkɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Świątki, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 km (2 mi) north-east of Świątki and 22 km (14 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The suffix -dorf of the former German name Ankendorf is typical for settlements founded by Germans during Medieval Ostsiedlung.[2]
