Jameson Geers is an American football tight end for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Early life and high school

Geers attended high school at Providence Catholic located in New Lenox, Illinois. He committed to play college football for the Minnesota Golden Gophers over offers from other schools such as Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Purdue, and Illinois.[1]

College career

During his first three seasons from 2021 through 2023, Geers recorded four receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown in 22 games.[2] In week nine of the 2024 season, he hauled in one reception for 23 yards in a victory over Maryland.[3] Geers finished the 2024 season, hauling in 28 receptions for 290 yards and four touchdowns.[4] Heading into the 2025, Geers is projected to be one of the Gophers top players.[5] He was also named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 watch list, where he is considered a prospect for the 2026 NFL draft.[6][7]
