Italianna is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Kat Coiro and written by Ryan Engle. The film stars Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page, and the story takes place on Italy's Amalfi Coast.
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States by Universal Pictures on April 10, 2026.
Premise
The film follows a free-spirited Italian chef (Bailey) and a reserved British lawyer (Page) who embark on a whirlwind romance during a destination wedding in coastal Italy.[1]

Production
In March 2025, it was announced that Kat Coiro would be directing a romantic comedy film starring Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page.[2] Later in June, Marco Calvani and Aziza Scott joined the cast.[3][4] In July, Lorenzo de Moor joined the cast.[5]
Principal photography began in June 2025 on location along Italy's Amalfi Coast.[6][7]
Release
Italianna is scheduled to be released in the United States on April 10, 2026.[8]
