Inverkeithing Parish Church

Inverkeithing Parish Church of St Peters is a category B listed church of the Church of Scotland, in the town of Inverkeithing, Fife.[1]
History
Standing on an ancient religious site, the original church was founded in 1244. The tower was built in the 14th century, and extensive fire damage in 1825 meant most of the church was re built in 1827 by James Gillespie, with the interior being remodelled in 1900.[2] The churchyard contains graves mainly from the 18th and 19th centuries, with the earliest dating to 1606[1].
Interior
The church features one of Scotland's finest pieces of late medieval sculpture: a sandstone font gifted by Queen Anabella Drummond (1350 - 1401)[3].
