Humayoun Ashraf is a Pakistani film and television actor. Ashraf is known for his performances as Sohail in Rang Mahal, Taimoor in Naqaab.[1][2]
He also appeared as Haroon in Ishq Hamari Galiyon Mein, for which he received the Hum Award for Best Soap Actor in 2013.[3] He made his film debut in 2019 with romantic musical film Sacch.[4] He also appeared in Dhai Chaal, an action movie released in 2023.[5][6]
Personal life
Ashraf is born and raised in Karachi. He got married at an early age but got divorced citing it as an immature decision to get married early.[7][8][9] Ashraf has at times expressed his desire to work in Turkish dramas.[10] He has also expressed to never portray a role of Transgender on Pakistani television due to a typical stereotype being created about the person portraying the character among the showbiz industry.[11][12][13]
