Govindpura (Urdu, Punjabi: گووند پورہ), officially Basti Bukhari (Urdu, Punjabi: بستی بخاریان), is a village in the Kot Addu Tehsil of the Kot Addu District of Punjab, Pakistan.[1] The village was renamed as Basti Bukharian.
Famous Indian athlete Milkha Singh was born this village in 1929, before the Partition of India in 1947.
