Georgia McKee
Georgia McKee (born 24 April 2006) is an Australian rules footballer currently on the list of the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). A small forward known for her finishing ability and agility, she was recruited from the Central District Football Club in the SANFL Women's League and selected by Adelaide with pick No. 44 in the 2024 AFL Women's draft.

Early career and junior achievements
McKee began playing Australian rules football with the Central District Football Club in the SANFL Women's League. In 2022, she produced a breakout game against West Adelaide with four second-half goals and seven tackles, finishing her debut season with 11 goals from nine matches, along with averages of 13.7 disposals and 3.6 inside 50s per game.[1]
She missed the 2023 season due to an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury but returned in 2024 to represent South Australia at the AFL Women's Under-18 Championships, where she was named the state's Most Valuable Player.[2] She also earned selection in the AFLW National Academy intake for 2024.[3]
SANFLW and representative highlights
McKee’s 2024 SANFLW season included strong performances in the forward line, with consistent goal kicking and forward pressure.[4] She was invited to the AFLW draft combine in September 2024, joining other South Australian prospects.[5]
AFLW draft and Adelaide career
Adelaide selected McKee with pick No. 44 in the 2024 AFL Women's draft.[6][7] The club described her as a “dangerous small forward” with strong finishing skills and the ability to kick on both sides of her body.[8]
Injury and 2025 season
In June 2025, McKee ruptured her ACL during a training session and was ruled out for the entire 2025 AFLW season. She was placed on the club’s inactive list.[9][10]
Playing style
McKee is recognised for her agility, goal sense, and forward craft. She applies strong defensive pressure inside 50 and is regarded as a creative and opportunistic small forward.[1][4]
