Francisco Azevedo (born 1951) is a Brazilian writer and former diplomat. He was born in Rio de Janeiro. He is best known for his 2008 bestseller O arroz de Palma, which was nominated for the São Paulo Prize for Literature. It has been translated into a dozen languages.[1][2]
