The Andorran Volleyball Federation (Catalan: Federació Andorrana de Voleibol) is the governing body for volleyball in Andorra. It was established in 1987 and is responsible for organizing, promoting, and developing volleyball activities in the country. The federation is based in Ordino.[1]
History
Since its inception, the federation has been affiliated with both the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). It oversees the national teams and local clubs, supporting the growth of volleyball at all levels within Andorra.[2]
Andorra's most significant success has been on the men's side, including the national team and the club CV Andorra. Through notable achievements in the Spanish league system including a second-place finish in the Superliga de Voleibol Masculina these teams have participated multiple times in CEV competitions at the European level.
