Fırat Pozan (born 19 November 1989) is a Turkish taekwondo athlete who has won multiple medals at the European Taekwondo Championships and represented Turkey internationally in the flyweight division.[1]

Career

Pozan began practicing taekwondo at the age of 11 with Gazi Osman Paşa Sports Club in Istanbul.[2] In 2005, he was selected for the national team and won his first major international medal, a silver, at the European Junior Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan (–48 kg).

That same year, Pozan made his senior debut at the 2005 European Taekwondo Championships in Riga, Latvia, where he won a bronze medal in the 54 kg division.[3] In 2008, he won another bronze at the European Championships in Rome (58 kg). He repeated this achievement at the 2012 European Taekwondo Championships in Manchester, UK, securing his third senior European bronze medal in the 58 kg division.[4]

Pozan also competed at the 2007 World Taekwondo Championships in Beijing and the 2011 World Taekwondo Championships in Gyeongju, where he reached the round of 16.[5]
