Evans Nana Ekow Aryee (born 2 April 1998)[2][3] also known as "Evans the Hulk"[1] is a Belgium-based Ghanaian strongman and powerlifter.[4][5][6]

Career

In a career which begun from placing second in strongest man in East Flanders, Belgium in 2022,[7] Aryee has 3 international wins and 9 podiums to his credit. He is one of very few men from Belgium to participate on the Strongman Champions League circuit.[8]

He retained the title in 2024 before going on to win a third SCL title in May 2025 in Zrenjanin, Serbia. At the Serbian event, he finished level on points with veteran Aivars Šmaukstelis but took the title on countback.

Aryee made his first appearance at World's Strongest Man in 2024, finishing fifth in a group involving Pavlo Kordiyaka, Evan Singleton, Rauno Heinla, Marcus Crowder and Kane Francis. His won the car walk event during that heat. He also competed in 2025, finishing fourth in a group that was won by eventual World's Strongest Man Rayno Nel and also included Mateusz Kieliszkowski, Lucas Hatton and Shane Flowers.

Aryee also powerlifted at the IPF in the classic division.[9]
