Erin Wong Cheuk-kay (Chinese: 王卓淇, born 26 June 1991), is a Hong Kong actress and singer, once active in the Hong Kong entertainment industry, runner-up of the 2014 Miss Hong Kong Pageant,[1] she was a TVB Manager Contract artist, and has sinced moved to Mainland China for development.
Summary
Wong was born in Yuexiu District in Guangzhou,[2] her father is a skin care product manufacturer who opened a large factory in Dongguan. Her family has a lot of property investments overseas. She is said to be one of the rich young actresses of TVB.[3]Wong graduated from Dongfeng East Road Primary School in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, and graduated from Guangzhou No. 4 Middle School in high school. He studied at the Department of International Economics and Trade of Nanguo Business College of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Then she went to study in the UK and took a one-year undergraduate course at the University of the West of England. After completing his bachelor's degree, he went to the University of Surrey in the UK to study for a master's degree in international business management.[4][5][6] Her father runs a skin care products business in mainland China.[7][8]
In 2011, Wong participated in the Miss Chinese Universe contest and was shortlisted for the top 18.[9] In 2014, she won the runner-up in the 2014 Miss Hong Kong Pageant,[10] she represented Hong Kong in the Miss World competition held in London.[11] In January 2015, Wong enrolled in the Anthony Wong × Olivia Yan master class, and at the end of 2016, she enrolled in the 3-month Performing Arts Advanced Training Class. In 2017, she received attention for her first time playing two roles, "Fan Tai-hei" and "Choi Siu-yau" in the TVB drama "The No No Girl".[12][13] In 2020, she played the role of Kung Chin-Chin, a disabled cancer patient, in the TVB drama "Life After Death". Wong was once a frequent actor of TVB producer Leung Choi-yuen. In 2021, Wong left TVB and his last drama was "Sinister Beings". After leaving the nest in 2022, she moved to mainland China and developed into a singer on the TikTok platform. She covered many Cantonese songs, including MC Cheung Tin-fu's "Overruled", but was criticized by netizens for being out of tune.
Currently, Wong lives in mainland China.
