Pierre Poilievre is a Canadian politician who has been the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada since September 10, 2022. As leader of the party, Poilievre served as the leader of the Official Opposition in Canada until April 28, 2025 when he was unseated by Liberal challenger Bruce Fanjoy in the 2025 federal election.

First elected as a member of Parliament in the 2004 Canadian federal election, Poilievre represented the riding of Carleton until his 2025 election loss.
