Daniel García-Peña Jaramillo (born 1957) is a Colombian university professor, historian, journalist, politician, and diplomat who served as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs between April and July 2024 and currently as Ambassador of Colombia to the United States since July 15, 2024.
Born in Bogotá, D.C.,[1] García-Peña studied History at Belmont Abbey College and later served as Director of the Department of Political Science at the National University of Colombia.[2][3][4][1]
