The Conservative Union (Spanish: Unión Conservadora),[1][2][3][4] until July 1897 known as the Silvelist Party or the Silvelists (Spanish: silvelistas),[5] was a Spanish political party created in 1893 by Francisco Silvela as a split from a faction within the Liberal Conservative Party.[6]
In 1899 it merged again into the Liberal Conservative Party.[7]
