Cinergy Entertainment Group, Inc. (doing business as Cinergy Cinemas & Entertainment) is an American entertainment chain with movie theaters, arcade games, escape rooms, axe throwing, and bowling alleys. The chain has 11 locations across Illinois, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas.[2]

History

Cinergy was established in 2009 by Jamie and Jeff Benson.[3]

In 2016, the company began land purchases and adding new locations throughout Texas, including Tyler, Amarillo, and Odessa, which were open during 2017.[4][5][6]

In November 2017, Cinergy announced their first out-of-state location in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which later opened in April 2019.[7][8][9]

In 2022, Cinergy added a location in Wheeling, Illinois.[10]

In August 4, 2025, Cinergy announced that a new location in Midland, Texas.[11]
