Chu Yonghong (Chinese: 储永宏; born January 1966) is a Chinese politician and senior accountant. He is currently a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary-General of the Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Provincial State Organs Work Committee.

Biography

Chu studied accounting and finance at Jiangsu Provincial School of Business from 1983 to 1986 and undertook graduate-level study at the Central Party School. He joined the CCP in April 1986 and started his career in August of the same year.[1]

He served in auditing roles at the Nanjing Audit Bureau (1986–2003), progressively rising to Bureau Director. He later became Deputy Secretary-General of Nanjing Municipal Government and Party Secretary of multiple local districts before being appointed Jiangsu Provincial Finance Department Director (2018–2021) and subsequently Vice Governor (2021–2022).[2][3]

In September 2022, Chu was appointed Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and Secretary of the Provincial State Organs Work Committee.[4]

He is a delegate to the 14th National People's Congress and a member of the 14th Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee.[5]
