Christine Marie Mason is an American entrepreneur, author, yoga teacher, and spiritual educator whose career spans technology, wellness, publishing, and consciousness education. She is the founder of the intimate-wellness brand Rosebud Woman and co-founder and former CEO of SpringCM, a software company acquired by DocuSign in 2018 for $220 million. Mason has organized and hosted multiple TEDx events, serves on nonprofit boards focused on healing and social transformation, and teaches internationally as a certified yoga instructor and devotional singer. She is also the host of The Rose Woman podcast and the author of several books on embodiment, ritual, and women's life cycles, including The Nine Lives of Woman (2025).

Early life and Education

Mason was born to a German mother and American father, and spent parts of her childhood in the Chicago suburbs, on Washington Island in Lake Michigan, in Germany, and in Tehran.[1] She left home at 15, began college at 16, and earned both a BA and MBA from Northwestern University. She is a PhD(c) candidate in Philosophy and Consciousness at the California Institute of Integral Studies.[2] She has spoken publicly about the profound effect of her mother's murder on her life and work.

Career

Technology and Entrepreneurship

In 2004, she became president of MSDSOnline, an online environmental health and safety compliance software company that was later sold to a private equity firm.[3]

Also in 2004, Mason co-founded SpringCM (originally DocExchange, Inc.) as Chief Marketing Officer, a Chicago-based SaaS platform for enterprise content and contract lifecycle management.[4] She later became president and CEO, leading the company through multiple funding rounds before its acquisition by DocuSign in September 2018 for $220 million.[5]

In 2008, she co-founded Now Labs Inc., a futurism and innovation consultancy serving clients including Autodesk, Panasonic, Estée Lauder, and Genentech.[6]

Wellness and Lifestyle Ventures

In 2017, Mason founded Rosebud Woman, a plant-based intimate and body-care brand designed to support women's health across life stages. The line includes products such as the Honor Everyday Balm and has been featured in retailers including Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and Saks Fifth Avenue.[7] Rosebud Woman products have been profiled in outlets such as Vogue Singapore.[8]

In 2017, she founded Sundari Farm and Gardens, a retreat and community gathering place in Hawaiʻi offering programs in regenerative agriculture, wellness, and spiritual practice.[9]

In 2023, she co-founded Radiant Farms, a botanical wellness company producing organic plant-based gummies and freeze-dried herbal formulations.[10]

Mason hosts The Rose Woman podcast, which ranks among the top 5% globally.[11] She has been a featured speaker at conferences including the Science of Consciousness 2025 conference in Barcelona and addressed TRIBALIZE IV on "Healing the Space Between: Spiritual Ecology and Collective Trauma". Nonprofit and Community Work

Mason has organized and advised on 15 TEDx events, including TEDxSonoma, TEDxSF, and TEDxMarin, serving as both host and curator for talks focused on social change, innovation, and personal transformation.[28][29][30] From 2009 to 2013, Mason co-led LoveSpring, a San Francisco-based salon on technology and spirituality, which convened leaders from diverse fields for discussions at the intersection of innovation and consciousness.[31]

Mason served for approximately seven years as a board member of the Insight Prison Project's Guiding Rage Into Power (GRIP) program at San Quentin State Prison, supporting rehabilitation and restorative justice for incarcerated men.[32][33]

She is a member of the Evolutionary Leaders Circle and serves on the board of the Mission Within Foundation, which provides psychedelic-assisted healing retreats for veterans, first responders, and others recovering from trauma.[34]

Yoga and Music

Mason is a certified yoga teacher with training from internationally recognized instructors including Baron Baptiste, Rod Stryker, Mark Whitwell, Nicki Doane (Maya Yoga), Shiva Rea, the Prison Yoga Project, and the Mattamayura Institute.[35] She incorporates breathwork, tantra, and embodied movement into her teaching and has led retreats, workshops, and classes internationally.

As a devotional singer, she appears on Adam Bauer's 2014 album Shyam Lila[36] and has performed with Bauer, Daphne Tse, Amitabhan, and others. She has appeared as a guest teacher and singer at events including Open Circle's "Sacred Chant" series[37] and BlessFest East's "Your Body This Earth" gathering.[38]

At Sundari Gardens, she founded and intermittently hosts a weekly song circle for devotional chanting and sacred music.

Personal life

Mason is a mother of six and a grandmother. Her children include American fashion designer Samantha Sleeper, American actor Jarrett Sleeper, American rock drummer Chris Berry, and American podcaster Alie Ward, Kyle Sleeper, and Connor Sleeper. Through marriage, she raised two stepchildren, Laurel McCaull and Grace McCaull.

She divides her time between Hawaiʻi and California, continuing to write, teach, and develop projects at the intersection of business, wellness, and consciousness studies.[1]
