Chak 87 EB is a chak (village) in Pakpattan District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located four kilometers northwest of Qaboola and roughly ten kilometers south of Arifwala.It consists of almost 1600 acres of agricultural land.Its weather is hot and humid while November to march months are cool. The inhabitants of the village are mostly muhajirs( mostly migrated from district ferozpur and Fazilka India) and are Punjabi speaking.

Major castes in this village include Mohal, Sahoo, kaliya rajput, Joyia, Mochi, Mahar, Wattu, Kharal, Sheikh, Kaliya , Mughal, Rana, Rajpoot, Jutt. All living peacefully.

Population

The approximate population is 15,000, with 6,000 registered voters. The literacy rate is 55% and 10% are employed as government or semi-government employees.Most of the people are agriculturist. There are two govt schools. One for boys and one for girls. Both are middle schools.
