Pt. Bholanath Prasanna was an Indian flute or bansuri player. He was brother and disciple of Bansuri player Pt. Raghunath Prasanna.
Career
Bholanath Prasanna was the recipient of various awards and honors including Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy Award (1989) Category (Shehnai)
He taught bansuri to many disciples; among them are: Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia,[1] Pt. Rajendra Prasanna (Nephew),[2] Pt. Niranjan Prasad, Ajay Shankar Prasanna (son).[3]
