Bhanot

Bhanot ([ɓáːnɔ́ʈ]) is an Hindu surname found in the Punjab and Jammu regions of India.

In the state of Punjab, the surname is a Punjabi Hindu last name, found amongst the Brahmin caste.[1] In the Jammu division of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir however, Bhanot as a last name is found amongst the Chuhra caste of Dalits,[2] and the Dogra-Rajputs as well.[3][4]
