Bekir Aydın is a Turkish former taekwondo practitioner who won a bronze medal at the 2001 World Taekwondo Championships, and multiple medals at the European Taekwondo Championships between 1998 and 2002.[1]
Career
Bekir Aydın competed internationally in the –78 kg weight category during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He won a bronze medal at the 1998 European Taekwondo Championships held in Eindhoven. In 2000, he improved to a silver medal at the European Championships in Patras, and repeated the silver medal performance in 2002 when the event was hosted in Samsun, Turkey. His career highlight includes winning the bronze medal at the 2001 World Taekwondo Championships in Jeju.[1]
