Barbara Brent (née Benjamin; August 10, 1936 – September 18, 2019) was an American actress and model known for her television work on Burke's Law, McHale's Navy, and The Joey Bishop Show.

Biography

Barbara Benjamin was crowned Miss Surfmaid in 1953 and continued modeling before getting hired as a showgirl on The Jackie Gleason Show.[1] She was cast in Guys and Dolls (1955) and subsequently toured the world to publicize the film.[2][3]

She wed David Horne in 1955, with whom she had two daughters.[4] She later married Robert Duvall and after they divorced wed Frederick Marcus.

Barbara published Inside Out in 2008, which profiled the lives of drag queens in New York City.[5]
