History

Bangladesh Students' Party was founded on July 16, 2023, at the National Press Club in Dhaka. The organization formed a 71-member convening committee, led by convenor Mohammad Prince and member secretary Ashraful Islam Nirjhor, with Asaduzzaman Fuad as chief advisor. Many of its members were previously involved in the 2018 Bangladesh road-safety protests and the 2018 Bangladesh quota reform movement.[3][4]

In 2024, they launched free internet services for the students at Modhur Canteen at the University of Dhaka.[5]

On 9 August 2024, Bangladesh Students' Party declared 5 August as the "Second Republic Day" during a press conference at their central office.[6]
