Md Assaduzzaman Sokal is a Bangladeshi film producer and media entrepreneur. He began his career as an intern at Half Stop Down, later becoming a partner before founding Digital Shadow Production. His work includes producing Procholito, Munshigiri, Bodh, and Dhaka Metro.[1][2] He produced Bangladesh's first original web series for the Hoichoi OTT platform and has been involved in mentoring emerging filmmakers.[3]

Sokal has produced over 1,500 television commercials, several web series, television dramas, 12 films for television and OTT platforms, and three feature films. Many of his productions address social issues such as human rights, gender equality, and environmental sustainability.[4]

- Aynabaji (2016) – Produced while at Half Stop Down. Won Best Film at the Seattle South Asian Film Festival and seven Bangladesh National Film Awards.[5]
