Asian Granito is an Indian manufacturer of ceramic and vitrified tiles. The company was founded in the year 2000 and is headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.[2][3][4]

The Company produces and sells a diverse array of tiles, engineered marble, quartz, bathware, and faucets.[5][6]

It is publicly traded on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) under the ticker symbol ASIANTILES.[7][8]

History

Asian Granito was established in the year 2000 by Mr. Kamlesh Patel and Mr. Mukesh Patel. in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In the year 2001, company setup its first ceramic plant with 2,500 sq mtr per day capacity at Idar, Gujarat.[2]

In the year 2007, Asian Granito launched its IPO and as listed on Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange.[9]

As per the report, AGL opened India's largest tiles showroom in Gujarat in December 2021.[10]

In April 2022, AGL launched Rs. 441 crore rights issue to fund its Mega Expansion Plans, set up three new manufacturing facilities at Morbi, Gujarat in Value Added Luxury Surfaces & Bathware Segments.[11][12]

From October 2023, AGL started operation in UAE with a vision to enhance its footprint at Global Level. Currently, AGL has already established its business operations in seven countries i.e. UAE, USA, UK, Thailand, Indonesia, Senegal and Nepal.[13][14]

In July 2024, AGL launched exclusive experience gallery at Ahmedabad Airport.[15]

AGL inaugurated a 3,500 square foot Display Center in Hyderabad in March 2025.[16]

Operation

The Company has 14 state-of-the-art manufacturing units spread across Gujarat and 277 plus franchisee showrooms, 13 company owned display centres across India. Further, the Company has 18,000 plus touchpoints including distributors, dealers and sub-dealers in India. The company also exports to more than 100 countries.[2]

AGL has a growth of 65 times in its production capacity, from 0.83 Million Sq. Mtrs. Per Annum in FY 2000 to 54.5 Million Sq. Mtrs. Per Annum in FY 2023.[17]

In January 2025, the company signed Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor as its brand ambassador for its Tiles brand 'Bonzer7'.[18]

Celebrity collaboration

In March 2024, AGL signed Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor as its brand ambassador and launched the "Premium ka Pappa” campaign.[19]

In Feb 2024, AGL collaborated with Ogilvy India to promote its products.[20]
