Ash Ricardo is an Australian actress. She is best known for playing Kerry Green in Network Ten’s Offspring and Detective Zoe Rawlings in the Channel Nine crime thriller Bite Club.[1]
Early life
Ricardo was born in Sydney. She studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art.[2]
Career
Ricardos first big role of her career was when she played Kerry Green in Offspring.[3] Ricardo then appeared in a minor role in Thor: Ragnarok.[4] Ricardo landed one of the lead roles in the crime thriller Bite Club starring alongside Todd Lasance.[5][6][7]Ricardos most recent role was playing Jennifer Falk in Force of Nature: The Dry 2.[8]Ricardo has also appeared in many theatre productions for the Sydney Theatre Company such as Noises Off and Les Liaisons Dangereuses alongside Hugo Weaving.[9]
Personal life
Ricardo revealed she has suffered miscarriages. Since she was 16 she has been battling excrutiating period pain. When she was 26 she had three ovarian cysts that exploded. At the age of 32 she and her partner decided they wanted kids. She then underwent surgery to find out if she if endometriosis which she had long expected. While the results showed she had it she got it cleared out. She then soon after had a son named Jameson.[10] Ricardo gave birth to a second son named Holden Ricardo Meadows on September 28th 2023.[11]
