Archibald Norman Brown, better known as Archie Brown, (born 28 May 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe.

Club career

As a youth player, Brown joined the youth academy of English side Derby County, helping them win their only youth top flight title.[2]

Lausanne-Sport

In 2021, he signed for Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland.[3] On 28 November 2021, he debuted for Lausanne-Sport during a 3–0 loss to Servette.[4]

On 10 February 2023, he made his professional debut goal during win against Xamax.

Gent

On 11 August 2023, Brown signed a four-year contract with Belgian club Gent.[5] He became the fourth Englishman to ever play for the Belgian club.[5]

On 20 August 2023, he made his debut with the team in a Belgian Pro League match against Sint-Truiden. He made his continental debut in his professional career against APOEL Nicosia in a 2-0 home win UEFA Conference League play-off round first match on 24 August 2024.

Fenerbahçe

On 12 July 2025, Fenerbahçe announced that Brown joined the club on a three-year deal, with an option to extend.[6]

On 6 August 2025, he made his debut with Fenerbahçe in a 2025–26 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round first match against Feyenoord in 2-1 away lost.[7] On 12 August 2025, in his second appearance for the club, he scored and provided two assists to help his new side progress into the next round of UEFA Champions League qualifying.[8]

On 16 August 2025, he made his Süper Lig debut against Göztepe in a 0-0 away draw.[9]

International career

On 7 June 2024, Brown made his England U20 debut during a 2–1 win over Sweden at Stadion ŠRC Sesvete.[10] In the next match, he scored his first goal at international level in a 2–2 draw with Republic of Ireland U21.[11]

Personal life

Born and raised in England, Brown is of Jamaican descent and can also represent the country at international level.[12]
