Aleksa Cvetković (Serbian Cyrillic: Алекса Цветковић; born 13 May 2005) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for OFK Beograd.[2]
Club career
Cvetković was born in Leskovac, Serbia, He began training at 10 years at the football school in Leskovac, OFK Šampion. Then he moved to OFK Radnički Niš youth team in Niš.[3] On 2021, he moved to younger categories of his beloved club Red Star Belgrade.[4]
On 18 July 2023, after the good games at the cadet categories of the Red Star Belgrade, he signed his first professional contract with the first team.[5]
His idol is Spanish honored legend and ex Barcelona footballer Andrés Iniesta.[6]
On 1 July 2024, he signed a three-year contract with OFK Beograd.[7]
On 20 July 2024, In the 1th round of the opening of the new season of Serbian SuperLiga he made his official debut as a starter for OFK Beograd squad in a home game in 2024–25 season, against Mladost Lučani.[8]
On 29 July 2024, In the 5th minute of the game, He scored his first goal for OFK Beograd against Tekstilac Odžaci.[9]
International career
On 19 November 2024, he made his debut for the Serbia national under-21 football team, on a friendly match against Turkey national under-21 football team where he scored his first official goal for the U21 national team.[10]
