Alan Wilson (11 June 1932 – 30 August 2023) was a Welsh historian and writer. Wilson and his friend, Anthony Thomas "Baram" Blackett, discovered a site which was claimed to be King Arthur's grave. Wilson and Blackett both claimed to have found two King Arthur figures that are known as Arthur I and Arthur II.[1][2]

In June 2016, Wilson and Blackett were to be knighted by King Kigeli V of Rwanda in the United States and were given the Grand Cross of the Royal Order of the Lion of Rwanda.[3]
Wilson also served as a vicar in Benwell, Tyne and Wear, where he died in 2023 due to a fire.
