Adolph Scherrer (1847–1925) was an American architect. He designed the 1888 Indiana State Capitol building, the Tipton County Courthouse, and Tipton County Jail and Sheriff's Home.[1] He also designed Maennerchor Hall as well as the Entryway and Waiting Station to Crown Hill Cemetery Indianapolis, Indiana.
He is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery and Arboretum, Section 53, Lot 201, Lat:39.8163282 Long: -86.1751036
