The 2026 Canadian Championship (French: Championnat canadien 2026) will be the nineteenth edition of the Canadian Championship, the premier men's domestic cup competition in Canadian soccer, and the 25th competition staged to determine the winner of the Voyageurs Cup. It is expected to feature all eleven professional men's soccer teams in Canada from the Canadian Premier League and Major League Soccer, as well as all four of the regional semi-pro League1 Canada champions. This will be the first Voyageurs Cup campaign for Langley United from League1 BC and Calgary Blizzard from League1 Alberta. CS Saint-Laurent of Ligue1 Quebec will make their second appearance in the tournament after their debut in 2024.[1]

The winner qualifies for the 2027 CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Format

The tournament consists of four rounds. The preliminary round consists of single matches with ties decided by a penalty shoot-out. The quarter-finals and semi-finals are two-legged ties; if the aggregate score is level, ties are decided by a penalty shoot-out. The final will be a single leg; if tied, the champion is decided by extra time and, if required, a penalty shoot-out.
