Emma Navarro defeated Emiliana Arango in the final, 6–0, 6–0 to win the singles title at the 2025 Mérida Open.[1] She did not drop a set en route to her second WTA Tour title and first WTA 500 title. She became the fifth player to win a WTA final with a 'double bagel' scoreline since 2000, and the first since Iga Świątek defeated Karolína Plíšková at the 2021 Italian Open.
Zeynep Sönmez was the defending champion,[2] but lost in the quarterfinals to Navarro.[3]
