The 80th anniversary of the victory in the War against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War will be observed with a series of ceremonial events including a military parade that will take place on 3 September 2025 in Beijing commemorating the end of the Second Sino-Japanese War and World War II.
Preparations
The official logo for the event was officially unveiled by the State Council Information Office on 13 May 2025.[1] Senior PLA officer Wu Zeke stated in June 2025 that the parade will feature "new-type combat capabilities" as well as a speech by CCP General Secretary and Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping.[2][3]
