The 2025–26 season is the 109th season in the history of Silkeborg Idrætsforening and the club's fifth consecutive season in the top flight of Danish football. In addition to the domestic league, the team is scheduled to participate in the Danish Cup, as well as having participated in the UEFA Conference League qualifying phase.

Pre-season and friendlies

The pre-season schedule was announced by the club on 4 June 2025.[12] The dates of three more training matches were revealed on 25 June.[13] On 11 July, an additional friendly match at JYSK Park against Danish 2nd Division club Thisted was added to the pre-season schedule.[14]
