The 2025–26 Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League is the fifth season of the Malaysia A1 Semi-Pro League, currently the second tier football league in Malaysia, since its establishment in 2019.[1] Melaka will not defend the title as they compete in the 2025–26 Malaysia Super League.[2]

Competition format

The league has 16 teams. The top two teams in the middle of season will qualify for the 2025–26 Malaysia Cup, while the top two at the end of the season will qualify for the 2026–27 Malaysia Super League season. The bottom two teams will be relegated to the Malaysia A2 Amateur League.[3]

Team changes

The following teams have changed division since the 2024–25 season.[4]

Name changes

  • Bunga Raya Damansara removed "Damansara" from its official name and change their full name to Bunga Raya
  • Guar Syed Alwi rebranded to Perlis GSA[5][6]
