Al-Jazira make their debut in the Kuwaiti Football League alongside four other clubs.
On July 21st 2025, it was announced that Ministry of Interior had applied to join the Kuwaiti Division One and both domestic cup competitions.[1] A week later Sporty and Al-Shamiya officially joined the league, adding to that Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Oil Company officially joined the league days later.
On August 3rd 2025, it was announced that the acceptance period for privately owned clubs will end on August 25th, 2025.[2]

Clubs can register a total of five foreign players throughout the season, in addition to two Kuwaiti-born (Domestic) players and 1 Mother Citizenship player, but five of them are allowed to participate in the match.
