The 2024 Oceania Women's Sevens Championship was the thirteenth Oceania Women's Sevens for Oceania women's teams and was held at the National Stadium in Honiara, Solomon Islands from 7 to 8 December.[1][2] Teams competed to qualify for a spot in the World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series.[1]
The Fiji Development team defeated Samoa in the final to win the tournament.[3][4] As Fiji were already in the SVNS series, Samoa as runners-up qualified for the 2025 World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series.[3][5]
Teams
Nine women's national teams competed in the tournament:[6]
American Samoa
Cook Islands
Fiji Development
Kiribati
Niue
Samoa
Solomon Islands
Tonga
Vanuatu
Format
Teams were seeded into three pools of three teams. The top two teams from each group alongside the top two third ranked teams advanced to the quarter-finals.[1] The highest-ranked non-2024–25 SVNS team would secure a spot in the World Rugby Challenger Series.[6]
