Ömer Abdurrahim Özer (born 8 March 2000) is a Turkish karateka competing in the kumite. He won the gold medal 2025 European Karate Championships.[1]

Career

Ömer Abdurrahim Özer won the gold medal in the final match of the 2025 European Karate Championships in Yerevan, Armenia by defeating Iurik Ogannisian, who participated in the tournament for Russia as an Individual Independent, 2-1. After passing the first round bye, Özer defeated Spanish Alex Ortiz de Zarate 3-0 in the second round, Latvian Artur Stepanov 3-0 in the third round, Moldovan Alexandr Capmoale 7-2 in the quarterfinals and Nenad Dulović from Montenegro 5-3 in the semifinals to reach the final.[2][3]
